Tracking Privacy Policy: We Respect Your Privacy

We don’t track you to sell your data to third parties, and we don’t track you to manipulate your content and we don’t track you when you are not on Return Red. Unlike other entities that track you across the internet even when you are not on their services we feel that doing so is not only a violation of your trust but is also in violation of basic decency and moral standards. We do not participate in ANY addclick or affiliate related programs. If you are reviewing content on Return Red and such related content is provided to you through other services, this is merely coincidental or the product of tracking features on your side unrelated to the Return Red platform. To ensure the safety and security of our users, we track how members use our site. We collect your log data, usage activity, email, phone number, cookie data, and device/network information, to verify accounts; combat harmful conduct; detect and prevent spam; and to maintain the integrity of Return Red.

We may share and match your information against databases or with third parties bound by confidentiality who specialize in identifying trolls, bots, scammers, spammers, fake accounts, stalkers, or illegal activity. We may also use pattern tracking to identify and remove disruptive elements such as trolls, bots, scammers, spammers, fake accounts, stalkers, etc.

We monitor how users use our site in general so that we can make it better. We are monitoring traffic, usage activity, feature popularity and site performance, and we use general analytic tools so that we can improve your experience.

Any data collected for marketing or advertising purposes is stripped or and presented in such a way that personal user data is not divulged.

Service Providers

We use third-party service providers to help operate Return Red, such as with hosting and to protect our users. We may share your information with these service providers on the condition that they use your private personal data only on our behalf and consistent with this Privacy Policy.

If you make payments on Return Red, we may share your payment information with third-party payment service providers to process payments; prevent, detect, and investigate fraud or other prohibited activities; facilitate dispute resolution such as chargebacks or refunds; and for other purposes associated with the acceptance of credit and debit cards.

Tracking Programs – Where and Why

In instances where we use tracking programs on Return Red the purpose is to make your experience better. We NEVER use such services for third-parties to target you specifically. Tracking Programs on Return Red allow you log in and out of Return Red without needing to retype your login and password for example. Tracking programs tell us how many people use a certain feature, how they use it and with what frequency, and whether people open an email we send.

Tracking services are another way we protect you from security risks. We use tracking to remember your settings and preferences, like the language you prefer and your privacy settings. We use tracking or similar technologies to identify your log data. We use tracking to detect when someone might be trying to hack your Return Red account or spam the Return Red community.

Tracking services are a necessity of any social platform to function properly and provide its users a value-added experience. At Return Red we recognize other services have abused your trust, have misrepresented their intentions, and used of your personal and private data in ways that are neither legally nor morally correct. - https://returnred.com/index.php/blog/5/who-owns-you/

At Return Red, unlike most other providers, we believe in full transparency and accountability to our users. If at any time you feel your information has been misused by Return Red or any of its representatives you are encouraged to contact us. We want you to be happy and when you are not we want to hear your concerns. - https://returnred.com/index.php/contact/

Message Maintenance

You have the ability to make any of your content disappear from our services. Except under extenuating circumstances where previous backup data must be invoked such as site recovery such deleted data is unretrievable.

But — and this is important — you should understand that users who see your content can always save it to their own systems, either by taking a screenshot or by using some other image-capture technology (whether that be software or even something as old-fashioned as a camera to take a photo of your device’s screen). For some reason many have come to feel that content they post online is hidden behind some magic wall. We have a term for this we call social blindness. This same social blindness seems to make people think they are impervious similar to how a child feels who has not yet experienced the pain associated with their negative actions. This same blindness gives some people a level of boldness and bravado they would not have when dealing with other humans face to face. Do not fall for these false senses of grandeur! Our best advice is to not say or post something to or about someone that you would not do with them directly in your presence. Our advice at Return Red that applies to the Internet at large is: Don’t post content that you wouldn’t want someone to save or share, that could subject you to legal scrutiny, that you would not have the courage to do in person, or that would otherwise cause you or others embarrassment or shame.

Your Identity: We Protect It To The Extent The Law Allows

We do our best to protect your identity at all times and we are respectful of the law. Return Red will disclose personally-identifying information to law enforcement officials when required to do so by law by way of warrant or subpoena. If material is subpoenaed that we feel would violate the rights of our users we will vigorously defend against the subjection of such data to the full extent the law allows.

Linking to Third Party Sites: These Are Your Decisions And Responsibilities

As an optional convenience for you, Return Red offers you the opportunity to link to and/or connect to third party websites, advertisers, vendor products, services, etc., including and not limited to other social networks. When you click-through, connect or link to these third party sites, products, services, etc., you are no longer protected by Return Red's Privacy Policy. If you share to any third party social site from Return Red, they will not be able to see back into your Return Red account by way of any services Return Red provides. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of these third parties, as they differ from Return Red's privacy practices as set forth in this Privacy Policy. Return Red is not liable for wrongful use, loss, or disclosure of your personally-identifying information related to your use of any third party.

Security:

We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect the confidentiality and security of your personal user data and other information transmitted to us. For example, we encrypt your personally identifiable information, and most, if not all requests from you to the server over a secure connection (HTTPS). However, no data transmission over the Internet or other network can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

For security purposes it is best that you maintain a strong password that is not shared with anyone else. While we recognize the convenience some browser utilities have for remembering password and sign in data you should be aware that such utilities have been found to have potential security consequences and vulnerabilities. While we can not force you to not use them, we do feel it is important to share with you the risk associated with their use and encourage you not to do so.

Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 16. If a person under 16 is using our service it is through deceit on their own part as they are not allowed to do so as a condition of our Terms of use: https://returnred.com/index.php/contact/ If we become aware that we have inadvertently received personal information or an account is set up from a child under the age of 16, we will delete such information from our records.

If you are a registered user of Return Red you may receive notifications and updates while using our service. Additionally, if you have supplied your email address, Return Red may want to tell you about new features, solicit your feedback, and keep you up to date about the privacy and integrity issues we care most about and how our company is working to support them. You can opt-out of these email notifications but doing so is not advised as all notices provided are done so in our user’s best interest.

Privacy Policy Changes:

Return Red dates and archives all changes in our Terms of Use and Pricy Policies. Should we change either of these you understand that through your use you are accepting the most up to date versions as listed on our site.

At any time if you do not agree with our Terms of Use or Privacy Policies it is incumbent upon you to delete your account. Use of your account means you maintain commitment to the most current versions of both our Terms of Use and Privacy Policies. It is your sole responsibility as a user to be completely aware and in full compliance or Return Red’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policies at all times.
