Who Owns You

If you are part of the digital landscape in today’s world you probably know already that Facebook, Twitter, Google, YouTube, Apple, Zoom, LinkedIn, TikTok, and many others both domestic and foreign you have likely never heard of, have full control over both your public and private data. They collect data on you, you would never dream they have. The collude with one another to bundle data, build comprehensive profiles using artificial intelligence to the likes you could never imagine, and place backdoors into your personal devices you are unaware of. They listen to you through smart devices and use facial recognition to learn more about you than even you consciously know about yourself and use the information they collect to profit through sales, control your thinking, actions, and limit your access to alternatives.

In any other time, the above comments would sound like a grand conspiracy from a sci-fi thriller. They are not. We are not going to hide behind some unnamed source. Notice the info provided is overwhelmingly directly from the government itself as well as known liberal outlets.

Think BIG government has got your back then you should know that Biden has added the following BIG TECH individuals, among others to his circle:

  • Former Facebook director Jessica Hertz is the Biden transition's general counsel.
  • Austin Lin, a former program manager at Facebook, is on an agency review team for the Executive Office of the President.
  • Erskine Bowles, a former Facebook board member, is already advising the transition team, along with Jeff Zients, another former Facebook board member, who has been picked to become Biden's COVID-19 czar.
  • Google's former Chief Executive Eric Schmidt, a billionaire who is a Silicon Valley titan, has been making personnel recommendations for appointments to the Department of Defense. Schmidt's name has also come up in discussions to lead a Biden White House technology task force.
  • Schmidt has also pushed for Jared Cohen, chief executive of Jigsaw, a tech incubator that operates as an independent unit under Google, for a role inside the State or Defense.
  • Two Amazon officials have landed spots on the president-elect's agency review teams for the State Department and the Office of Management and Budget.
  • Executive with Amazon are pushing allies for roles inside the Biden administration, according to sources who work with the transition. Names that have emerged as a result include Indra Nooyi, former chairwoman of Pepsi, who now sits on Amazon's board.
  • Another ally for some large tech companies is Biden's pick for Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, who has ties with both Amazon and Google, according to four sources.

That is just the tip of the iceberg.

You should also know that Facebook, Twitter, and Google are giving their best efforts to be the ones who develop an industry “best practice standard” that will be MANDATED on all. The effects of this will squash all potential competition. This can be seen by:

NOW as an educated consumer and user of tech products we will ask the question again, WHO OWNS YOU? To follow that up, do you find that acceptable?
